Chicken Sunday personal response

Talofa lava bloggers. Today I would like to share my personal response about 'Chicken Sunday' the story. Here is what we did. First our Teacher Miss Kim, read us the story named 'Chicken Sunday'. Then we had to go on a doc which was called "Personal response". Then we had to write 3 things that I was surprised about the story, 3 things I liked about the story, 3 things I didn't like in the story, 3 things that I would change in the story, 3 things it made me think about and 3 things that I didn't understand. We read this book because it related to racism and that is what we are learning about. From this I have learnt that no matter what we look like, we should be treated fairly and equally.

My reading tumble

Talofa lava bloggers. Welcome to another blog post. Today I would like to share about my reading tumble. A reading tumble is where you can choose one of the choices on our class site that our teachers have given us. Then we have to complete it during the week. When you complete it we put it on a slideshow and put a link to your work so the teacher can see what we have done. We do this all week and on Friday we should've completed all four of our tasks. Here is my slideshow of my T2 reading tumble. As you can see below on the slideshow in week 9, I did an infencing card slideshow on Monday. A Readworks book on Tuesday. I did nothing on Wednesday I was reading with the teacher. We read a book called New New Zealanders and on Thursday we didnt have reading. Then next Monday I did another Readworks book. Tuesday I was with Mrs Jones. Wednesday I was responding to a book named The proudest blue'. This book was about 2 sisters named Faizah and Asiya and it was their first day of school and also Asiyas first day wearing a hijab. It was a blue beautiful one but people keep bullying her and teasing her about it. But she just ignores them and kept playing with her friends and stayed proud. It's a really good book to me and finally on Thursday I described a character from the story The proudest blue and her name was Asiya. I have two more weeks to complete week 11 and week 12 then its the holidays.

My creative writing

Talofa lava bloggers welcome to my blog. Today I will be blogging about my creative writing. Here is what we did. Firstly we had to choose one of the pictures our teachers gave us. I chose a picture with a giant sized tadpole chasing 2 people on a speedboat. Then we needed to go on a document on our class site. We needed to plan our story in the planning space. I didn't really need to plan. Then there was a place that said "Start writing here" That's where we wrote our story. My story was about two best bros named Timmy and Tom, Tom is the older one who is 24 years old and Timmy is the younger one who is only 19. I pretended I was the storyteller. I wrote that they heard about a legend of a giant sized tadpole bigger than everything in the ocean. I can't tell you all about the story so here is a link to read my creative writing.
